Isotonic Drinks What are they???
Isotonic Drinks are used to replace fluids that are lost due by sweating. They also supply a boost in carbohydrates. Most Isotonic drinks contain carbohydrate sources are glucose with a 6-8% concentration.
When should I drink them and in which sports???
Isotonic drinks are used in most sports especially if you desire a carbohydrate hit. It is recommended that you drink 250mL every 15 minutes of intense activity. How to make one at home

INGREDIENTS:
200 mL of Orange Squash
1 Litre of Water
A pinch of Salt
Mix all ingredients together and keep chilled.
Hypotonic Drinks
What are they???
Hypotonic drinks are used to quickly replace fluids lost by sweating. Used by Gymnasts and Jockeys to replace fluids without giving the added boost of Carbohydrates.
How to make one at home
INGREDIENTS:
100 mL of orange squash
1 Litre of water
A pinch of salt
Mix Ingredients together and keep chilled.
Hypertonic Drinks
Hypertonic Drinks are used as to supplement daily carbohydrate needs after exercise, to top up muscle glycogen stores. In ultra distance events high levels of energy are required and Hypertonic drinks can be taken during exercise to meet the energy requirements. If used during exercise Hypertonic drinks need to be used in conjunction with Isotonic drinks to replace fluids.
When should I drink them and in which sports???
Hypertonic drinks can be used after any sport. And are regularly used in conjunction with Isotonic drinks during long distance sports such as Marathon, Cycling, Triathlon and Iron Man events.

INGREDIENTS:
400mL of Orange squash
1 Litre of water
A pinch of salt

Ingre:
3 cl lemon juice
10 cl orange juice
Dir:
Pour lemon juice and orange juice into a large tumbler over one ice cube. Stir well. Serve with sugar and cold water on the side, a drinking straw, and a spoon.
Lol. orange squash is something we drink ove here in england. Its a strong orange flavoured liquid that you just add water to, to drink it. the more water you add the more weaker it becomes.
