All the teams bar England fielded 1 striker and 1 recognised defensive midfielder. The key battle was the midfield, win that and you can stop opposition attacks or build your own. What England fielded was two strikers who weren't clinical and a defender in a midfield role, not the best passer.
The team looked disjointed. The back four looks promising, especially Walker. Pearce was out of ideas, too much time with Capello. The best periods of England games were when the subs came on. Czechs deserved the win, more patient more trusting in their ability and formation and took their chances when they came.

When i watched England game against Spain, i knew England will never win the championship. England were outclassed by Spain whose only fielded 3 star players. De Gea, Jeffren, and Juan Mata.
But England, entirely all the players are playing in big clubs and they are also tag as the new prospect of England. When you watched that game again, you knew that Spain plays high level than England. But dont give up on them yet. They still need time...
