Diarra is reportedly unhappy with his playing time at Real' and is looking for a move for the coming season to spark his recognition for the French national team. Liverpool seem interested apparently. Where do you think would be a good move for Lass?
United were interested in him last season (some news outlets even said he would be joining them.) Maybe they try again.
I've also read Arsenal is looking to sign him. That'd be a pretty good fit for him. It's pretty much Arsenal and Liverpool in the race right now though.
He'd be better at Arsenal. Liverpool already have Lucas, Spearing, Poulsen try to play the same positiion as him, and none are good enough to play on their own, whereas Lass can.
I think Arsenal are 3 players short of a trophy. CB, DM, GK. If they sign good quality leaders in those positions, they will win loads. These positions require experience, Djourou and Szcenzy just don't have it.
He would be good at Man U aswell, seeing as Scholes doesn't have the legs anymore and Carrick isn't really a DM. Hargreaves was quality shame about injuries.
Would LOVE to see LAss at Arsenal! I read that KaKa is on the move too..Apparently his family said he was coming to Chelsea on twitter...KaKa to Chelski and Lamps to RM?
I don't see why Real would go after Lampard. He'll be 33 next year and they have a really good team as it is. It just so happens that it's the era of the buzzsaw known as Barcelona. If Barcelona wasn't so good, people would be talking about Real Madrid being one of the great teams.
Where would you put Lampard anyways? He doesn't exactly fit in with the quick styles of Ronaldo, Di Maria, and Özil. And in terms of holding midfielders, they have Alonso and Khedira. (prediction: Khedira will be a lot better next year and he will be one of the best holding midfielders around. write it down.) I feel Lampard would slow down Real too much when their players are geared toward a quicker style.
edit: oh yea, and btw Real have already signed Nuri Sahin, who also plays deeper.
Lass and Alex Song together would make a very strong midfield defensively. Wenger could also keep them both fresh because one of the two could rest when necessary. I really hope Arsenal sign him; I've been very impressed by his play at RM lately. Maybe with the addition of yet another midfielder (Lass) next year would be the season when Walcott finally slips into a permanent striker role.
I agree with what Met said, especially about the CB and GK- if Arsenal could get a legitimate top defender to pair with Vermaelen and a dependable keeper maybe they'd finally win a damn trophy! Just think about the debacle that happened in the Carling Cup...
lampard at real? i just don't see the flaw and creativity in lampard to play with the guys on real, i think hes fine at chelsea, kaka at chelsea would be interesting to see.
