I couldn't manage to make a list of top 5 comedy films. There are a lot of good ones that I put level with eachother, not too many standouts though.

here's a list of my top 11 movies of all genres form the past decade, because it's better than nothing
in no particular order:

1. Monsters Inc
2. The Bourne Identity
3. The Lord Of the Rings Trillogy
4. Coraline
5. Gladiator
6. Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
7. Slumdog Millionare
8. The Incredibles
9. WALL-E
10. Goal: The Dream Begins
11. Cool Runnings

Fight Club would definately be on my list but it came out 1998-1999

1. Hangover
2. Borat
3. Superbad
4. Dumb and Dumber
5. Hot Fuzz

Thats something you watch with abunch of people at someones house, so you can all laugh at the absurdity. Not something you wna watch alone .. it'll disturb you
