Hey this is my 500th post so I am quite happy and I wanted to make a new topic, to celebrate that. (Man i spoil myself)
I was just wondering if any of you knew any stories that people may have told you, presonal experiences or articles on the internet of average people talking about playing pros as kids?
I know it sounds weird but it makes me laugh listening to some of the stories.
If you dont get what I am saying an eg. would be.
A guy talking about when he had to play Gerrard when they were both six.
Thanks, and ps, 1000th post is gonna be a ripper, stay tuned
Zidane said himself that in his area there were plenty of kids that had better technique than him. He said the difference between him and other people was that he thought only about football and so kept on improving.
I have talked to a guy that used to coach Tim Cahill, when he was a kid, and a guy that has played against him when he was younger, and heard that he was fairly good at his age, not so much overall compared to all the players in a game, but technically he was far superior to anyone, they described him as a prodigy.
