People who say something cannot be done are often surprised by others doing it.

Ever considered soft-ground football boots mate? I'm guessing that you're wearing them instead of sneakers to begin with, of course. Soft Ground boots basically have longer metal studs for better grip on slippery surfaces as far as my knowledge really extends on them, we don't really need SG (Soft-Ground) boots in Australia, we don't get rain much, and when it does, the game's called off!!

There are three different types of stud-patterns:
FG - general use for hard/normal ground
HG - used for gravel/dirt fields/grounds, they're quite popular in Germany.
SG - used in the EPL alot, for longer/slicker grass.

Yeah, the blades, FG, are very popular and i expect your wearing them in extremely wet conditions. Really you wanna wear blades in the summer when its really dry and studs, SG, in the winter when the pitches are wet/muddy.
