MLS Season 2008
Ur Canadian start supporting Toronto FC! And they won't be Champions this year even if they have a good offense their defense and lack of depth is gonna destroy them as the season progresses.Davidson9 wrote:and it all falls into place....2brown347 wrote:LA up by 1, and beckham scored, and it wasn't a free kick

LA vs Quakes.
Overall a pretty good game. Beckham and Donovan did what they are paid to do, and Gordon and Klein did very well to. I feel sorry for Cannon because he seems to be stuck with a mediocre defense again. LA weren't doing to well till the 9th minute when Beckham scored against the run of play. After that LA dominated.
That being said I don't think they'll have near as much success against teams with stronger offenses.

Yeah, I thought LA played a million times better tonight. It was like a whole new team. Not to take anything away from them, but they were also playing a much weaker team I think.
It will be interesting to see what they can do in their next few games against decent teams. they did show they have potential though.

Well L.A. is starting to suprise some people. And they are getting it done with some other people along with Beckham and Donovan. They are top of the West at the moment.
I thought DC united would have turned things around by now. Maybe their win last night against TFC will help. I really thought they would be in a much better spot by now. Very suprising.

Did anyone see Beckham's goal from 70 yards away against the Kansas City Wizards? It was pretty sick even though it was an empty net goal - http://youtube.com/watch?v=2qKArFtAeSg&feature=related
