What do you mean "top spin the ball"? Are you talking about chipping? If you are, check out this topic:

Great post. 8) I have trouble curling the ball. Whaat has worked for me only a couple times is to lock my ankle and swing at the bottom right of the ball. then as i'm about to hit it i unlock my ankle and then raise my toes as I make contact w/ the ball. Is there a better way? :?:

i heard that when approaching the ball.u should approah it at a angle .how many degress must the angle be?

Usually somewhere around 45 degrees.

no its not really a chip its like a instep shot but the ball spins upwards like with your instep but with a good follow through im not sure how you do this
