Inspirational Matches..

Post by panchester07 » 22 Aug 2011, 17:58

If your an old member, you probably know that I have posted a few times how i train with my team, and i set aside 60-90 minutes to train alone, atleast 4-5 times a week.....

I love training alone, its exellent, relaxing, peaceful, your sweating, you know your improving, you know you're gonna be better tomorrow, you already know what you need to work on, and what drills you need to do to improve that specific skill.... I mean, you feel fantastic, because you love football, and your training so you know you're getting better at what you love the most, is almost as cool as playing.. but playing is still much better....

Anyway, sometimes, you get caught up in the routine, and your trainings might loose and lack intensity... Meaning, you do it almost everyday and even though you know better, you might start going 90% instead of 110% like you should..... Its rare, but it can happen...

For that reason, i came up with an idea, (i train in the early mornings alone), that everynight, before i fall asleep, i dedicate 20 minutes on finding great videos, that i can play in the early morning before i train, and that way I will be supeeeeeer psyched during training and go 500%, having the images of the videos in the back in my brain i just block out all distraction and shut the world outside and just bust a ballllll!!!!

One thing i noticed, i'm tired of compilations, with music in the back, linking park, or "let the bodies hit the floor", oh lets not forget your usual CR7 compilation with "requiem for a dream" as the soundtrack, how many of those haven't we seen....

One thing that inspires me, is real match summaries, like actual matches, for example Germany 0 - Italy 2 in the world cup, that was a match filled with excitement and emotions, other abuses, great victories by 5-6 goals pump me up, because they represent awesome beautifull football winning, and its just amazing to see super victories like those!. there are so many others that i have watched, and they do the job just exellent of getting me all pumped and ready to train harder than ever.... I'll post here some that have inspired me before training..

here are a few highlights of inspirational matches that i check out before training and inspire me.. because matches are what inspire me the most, way more than compilations..!

Argentina 0 - Colombia 5 (super inspirational, a lesson of football by the colombians, and how they celebrate the goals is fantastic)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyvnXemunk0

Real Madrid 1 - Barcelona 0 (awesome match, madrid worked so hard and pulled the win, filled with excitement and passioN)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snwP2L76-HQ

Brazil 6 - Uruguay 0 (U-20) (joga bonito football domination, so beautiful to watch)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZ5Xl0-w200

Brazil 4 - Argentina 1 (great victory of one rival vs the other, with great football)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSUxWYUrXWI

Argentina 3 - Mexico 0 (same, Argentina dominating the arrogant mexicans and slapping them, they hate to loose against the Argies)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vf1BxwwyYE

Slovakia 3 - Italy 2 ( surprise, surprise, Italy get's knocked out of the world cup and slovakia goes through, those slovaks celebrate like crazy)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUszx9C0zb4

Anyway, you get the picture, those are a few of the great matches in football that make you want to go out and train, but i know there are soo many out there that I haven't looked at, like small teams qualifying in to the world cup, those are always packed with intensity and adrenaline, or important championships, victories, fights, red cards, amazing goal celebrations, tears, all that has emotion and amazing desire to win, with great football results in super videos and super matches.. Also, i look for the videos with the best comentators, there are some freak comentators out there that don't even yell when their team scores, yet there are others that scream their lungs out, and add more intensity to the match/video..... Post the link to highlights of great matches in history, and lets make a super thread of this b"·$%(I

Panch, we are not your personal army. If you have a grievance, you have to air it publicly and at least try to sort it out yourself by going to the mattresses, or we can't help you.

Good stuff, though! :D

Bias leaking from my nose here...but AC Milan vs Liverpool 2005. oh baby baby.

English involved games: Man U 1999 CL final.

Tottenham vs Arsenal 1991 FA Cup semi.

There is a DVD called 10 seasons of the PL, best goals and games. Best football video ever! They should bring out season 2 next year with another 10 seasons.

Good stuff brilliance, i'll try to find videos for that.

Today I saw Argentina 2- England 2 of World Cup 1998 highlights.. Very good match, and wow was Michael Owen a freaking menace.. He had the pace of Lennon back then and finished like Vannisterlooy.. Pity how injuries screw him like that.

Well Sunday's debacle was pretty inspirational.. Two teams that have been pretty close lately, and then one turns around and says this time i'm gonna woop your !·$% and hands in 8 goals ... Very emotional and probably a match that will be remembered in history and they'll ask you in 10 years, where did you watch Manchester United score 8 goals on Arsenal?..
