So I've got an indoor game tonight and I've been playing it for years now but I just wanted to get some other peoples' take on some good strategies for indoor soccer...

Have fun......

Take risks...

Try new things....

Enjoy the game....

Have good control over the ball.. Keep it close to your foot...

If you know how to step on the ball, roll it, do the "L" move, etc then thats a huge plus....

Thats about it....

Control/touch/feel is the essence of futsal, if you aint got it, you will have the hardest of time... On an 11 v 11 field, you can make up for yourr lack of touch with speed, playing first time passes, good stamina, etc...

If you want to make an impact on the futsal game you need touch

Are there walls in your indoor league (I assume there are)?

Use the wall to pass off of
Use the wall as a really bad defender who can't control the ball

If you're close to the goal and have no shot on goal, shoot it off of the wall and hope one of your teammates will get it.

Play as hard as you can until you get a sub.
Substitute often
