well when pros recieve da ball they look at the whole field before moving buit they do it fast, and then they move. then thing u should do is let sum one pass u da ball and let a person behind so when u recieve everytime u will try to do sumthin faster.

Worst case scenary, you always have a defender or goalie open if you get into real trouble with the ball, you can always go back. :lol:

i think one way of improving tactical awareness is to play some soccer video games and see how the players switch from attacking phase and defense, look at the runs diff players make and how they position themselves

I think its also critical to pass to the right zone around a player. I notice inexperienced defenders that I play with tend to mark the strikers person instead of his immediate area of control.

In other words, I don't usually pass "to" a person, but to the place where he will be.

A good way to practice this is to sprint down field parallel to each other passing back and forth without losing speed. It forces you to start calculating where a team mates trajectory will bring them and land the ball at his feet "at speed"
