Spain's best striker right now?

Post by Evan » 04 May 2007, 21:39

I know most of you probably don't care, but like I was wondering for the Euro 2008, who do you Spain's strikers will be? Torres+Villa, or Morientes? Or are there any younger players that will rise up?

True i dont really care lol, but anyway in my opinion Villa is the best Spanish striker around, he combines well with both Torres and Morientes and at the moment, id put Morientes ahead of Torres, but by the time of Euro 2008, who knows. :)

Do you know if he'll play for Spain or Serbia?

P.S. I'll take Villa for sure.

I dont know, I mean Moreintes ahead of Torres? I would think that by the time, Torres will be better than Morientes, but I think Torres is better than Villa, hes much faster, but Villa has great dribbling.

True, but Torres's finishing is sh*tty. I mean, vs Tunisia he could have scored so many goals than he actually did, and for someone of his reputation he needs to be higher up on the scoring charts in La Liga.

As a result to the original question, it's the Valencia top two (Villa and Morientes) easily.

Probably...maybe they will use a 3 forward formation...lol that would be great. But yes I agree Torres has good games and bad games...

wat? Villa is one of the quickest strikers around, he is not faster. Torres has certainly got a more promising future than Morientes of course, but at the moment Morientes is in good nick.

Yes, he is doing well for Valencia, and for Spain, in their last match he had a nice goal along with Villa. Hmm, I know Villa is very quick, but I've always found Torres faster, but like I said Villa is the better dribbler.
