Midfielder VS Striker
Midfielder VS Striker
If you were to choose between beeing a great Midfielder and being a great Striker. what would your choice be?
I would chose to be a great Midfielder, because Midfielders are more polyvalent, they can score, dribble, defend, pass, take free kicks. Besides most of football legends were midfielders: Pele, Maradonna, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho....

Not so true mate, Midfielders do get equal publicity/money as strikers, As I mentioned before most of football legends were are Midfieldersgnarlyjim wrote:but the reality is, Striker's get more publicity and $$$!
I guess if the money was similar I would want to be a midfielder.
Cruyef, Platini, Zidane...

its really hard to choose but i would want to be a striker coz if im a great midfielder aand i dont have good strikers i will have trouble giving them through passes and all and it will be hard dfor me to score goals for a win being in mid court. if im a great striker i can find a way to score without the help of teammates if they arent good enough.

Re: Midfielder VS Striker
Pele, Rivaldo, and Ronaldinho are not midfielders. Pele played CF for the Selecao, NY Cosmos, etc. Rivaldo played CF for Barca, Depor, and currently for Olympiakos. Most football legends were strikers, but in todays game they call them CAM which is basically a CF. If you look at all those players you named, none of them can defend worth a damn, and there game is all based off of attacking, attacking and more attacking. In the World Cup for example, Ronaldo and Rivaldo were playing CF and ST with Ronaldinho on the wing.DouDou wrote:If you were to choose between beeing a great Midfielder and being a great Striker. what would your choice be?
