The kid is good..I admit...but lol his facing kids that are 9 years old :P. if there was a video of him facing pros...then that would be good 8) . Also...when he kicks it..it seems like it was edited in the comp...like the ball goes one-by-one pictures :? .

in a lot of parts, he's only 6, so wouldn't facing 9 year olds still be impressive?

Only time will tell... He dosent seem to be from the classic example of A football legend, poor, didnt have money to do anything, but with talent and hardwork became a star ..

I saw his age..he was born in 1995 and I was born in 1992 so his actually 10 :P or his gonna be 10 this year. Also I know how hard it is to play with kids bigger...im in a team that has all 17 and 18 year olds..and im twelve but im the best one.

I'm afraid Jean Carlos might burn out because of so much publicity already at the age of 9!

Actually the players he's playing against are 13-14 year olds.

Pele commenting on the Next Pele (interview from Sky):

People always try to compare players with Pelé. Every good player that appears, the people compare with me. I used to say ‘maybe one day…,’ but there will be no more Pelés because my mother and my father closed the machine. Please do not try to compare. Maybe you got somebody with the same style, but Pelé -- no more. Who is going to be like Beckenbauer in Germany? No one.

That just explains it all so this topic is meaningless.

this topic isnt meaningless at all, we r discussing a very talented kid. perhaps the subject title is wrong but its not a pointless topic.

the kid is good, but i feel he will never play professional....
he will deform his legs, because he was forced to play football too much when he was not old enough.... or even if he makes it to the pros, he will have much injuries, and many operations on his knees...
look at this small talented serb, he plays for valencia now:
When Sir Alex Ferguson first saw the video he thought his eyes had gone bad. The youngster managed to get a whole series of corners direct in goal. And stopped balls from a 70 meter range.

Was someone trying to fool Man Utd's manager? No way, these images were real.

Nikon Jevtic from Serbian, 33 kilo's, 1.50 tall. The football wizzkid wanted by Europe's finest sides like Liverpool, Feyenoord  and Man Utd. Experts say he'll be worth a couple of millions in the next few years.

do you all really think that pele is the best footballer ever?!

have you ever heard of alfredo di stefano, for me he is football god....
legend of real madrid...
i think that maradona was, well maybe not better, but he was nearly as good as pele...

maradona is definitely not as good as pele. he was stronger in some areas, but pele was more well rounded. he was practically two footed, he could take free kicks as good as anyone can now, he could head better than any other player i know... the list goes on. alfredo di stefano is up there too, but pele is the best there ever was, and ever will be for a long time.
