TRUE DAT!

One of the more underrated players is Bennayoun. He has a great passing range and is a fairly good finisher. Great signing for the Pool.

Overated
Ronaldinho (The guy does a flip-flap and people go nuts)

Underated
Lilian Thuram (One of the Best defenders)
Rivaldo (It sad how everybody forgot about him. In the 2002 world cup finals both goals were scored by Ronaldo but they would of never been scored if it wasnt for Rivaldo

I never forgot Rivaldo. He's one of my main idols. People just look down on him because of the incident at WC 2002. Granted, his reputation should take a knock after that, but I think it's sad how people will forget years of brilliance because of one simulation.

i think kieran richardson is underrated and elano of man city, elano played well today against west ham. i never really noticed him when he played for brazil tho.

i didn't kno that peter schmichel had a son who played football. he plays for man city in goal.

Yeah Rivaldo was great. I guess Kaka took his spot and made people forget about him.

Pirio is definetley underrated. He is so good at everything he does in the team and he does it all cool, calm, and collected.

Beckham is overrated. Whenever i say something about a player like henry everybody else says "oh what about beckham. he's so good. has henry ever scored from half way?" Admittedly no. He was good but i think what everybody thinks about beckham in there heads is exagerrated now.

Well, the general public who know nothing are full of sh*t about any player they think is awesome.

Becks is a world class player no matter what. He is a role model in being honourable for his country and for all young footballers. Sure he isn't the best, but he is damn good at what he does.

P.S. The women love him, that's all.

Underrated

Carragher, Liverpool
why doesn't the england manager ever used him.
If u look at Liverpool, they have been conceding very little goals the last few seasons.

i think people are giving ronaldinho a hard time, he is advertised alot and talked up by nike but thats all commercial sort of stuff, but he lives up to the talk. He has played amazingly for barcelona during his time there, and i think people are spoiled by his skill, people say he is overrated when he is not playing his best, but bad form for him means not beating teams virtually by himself. When he is playing badly, he is still one of the greatest in the world, he has shown he always plays well, not always best but always at least 90%. Beckham on the other hand, right to call him overrated, if it wasnt for his name and the man utd treble, he would be a second division player, he is unbelievably average. I think that Gatusso is underrated, he doesnt have the technical capacity of Pirlo and Kaka and he is often outshined by them, but he is one of the hardest working players in the world, always goes in hard, never gives up, doesnt dive.

Wayne Rooney is overrated, hes good but not as good as people make out in my opinion.

Ricardo Carvalho is not held in as a higher regard as he should be he is a very very very good defender.

After today I have no qualms in saying that Emmanuel Adebayor and Kolo Toure are way underrated, while Robbie Keane is overrated.
