but there was a lot more pressure on England than Portugal. For me I would have to say Lampard because I have seen him take the most penalties and how he tricks keepers. I would also say Zidane but I havent seen much or him.

No Englishman can be the best penalty-taker. England is terrible at penalties.

Maybe Zizou, Totti, some other guy I'd never think of.

I have to go with Zidane also. Such a consistent player... a legend.

Zinedine Zidane. It's his mentality that makes him so good at the penalty kick. He doesn't even have to kick that hard, he just taps it.

Judging by the way he took the penalty against Italy, I would say Zidane.

Yeh Van Nistelrooy in his prime was ruthless from the spot. Then he missed one against Arsenal in the last minute that would have ended Arseenal's unbeaten run. A year later and there is a penalty awarded to Man Utd (with Arsenal's unbeaten run still not broken) Van Nistelrooy steps up and scores from the spot , 460 million people watched that game , talk about bottle.

Having said that Zidane is still the best penalty taker. :D
Without doubt.

Last seasons premiership, it has to be Heider Helguson. Surprising I know.
