do you think beckham is overrated?

Yeah if i could pick anyone to take a free kick, it would definetely be beckham. He is one of the best free kick takers ever.
I always thought Beckham was over-rated until the first time I saw him play live in a stadium. I've seen him play several times now.
He is class. His range of passing is incredible. Don't confuse 'long ball' with a 50 yard pass - it's not the same thing.
He hasn't had a good tournament yet. Sent off as a youngster in 1998, England were garbage in 2000, injured in 2002 and badly off-form in 2004. 2 years ago, he should have been dropped but I'm perfectly happy to have him in the England team. Along with Joe Cole, Frank Lampard and Steve Gerrard, that is argueably one of the strongest midfields in the world.
I'm looking forward to seeing him lead the team out against Paraguay in Frankfurt on 10th June
