It's clearly all still there, what amazing control. It's unfortunate to see where he is. He should just now be finishing his time at barca. Of course i'm saying this like he didn't win a world cup a world player of the year and all. But reminiscing recently it would be interesting to see what he could have done.

I saw this a couple of weeks ago, it's amazing skill. I don't give a sh*t about the elastico, the touch to bring it down was just amazing. Not just to actually do it, but in the style and effortlessness that ronnie does it in.

Your right nick, he could of been so much more if it wasn't for he's partying/alcohol or whatever people say it was.

I'm also gonna go out on a limb here and say that Ronaldinho has/had a better touch then Maradonna

Ronaldinho's amazing, but he's no where near Maradona's level.

Ronaldinho wasn't as good as Maradona no...But that is only due to Maradona having more physical ability.

Ronaldinho in my opinion does have the best control in the world, he does things no one else would dream of and makes it look effortless. Still my favourite player of all time. I don't think he ever got the credit he deserved for those golden few seasons at Barca.

It wasn't just his physical ability. His vision and passing was one of the best the game has ever seen. You can tell Maradona's shooting/accuracy was also better just by looking at the freekicks/corner kicks he has scored. Who was better at dribbling and control can be argued, but in my opinion Maradona is the better of the two.

Ronaldinho is one of the best freekick takers of all time. I don't know how good Maradona was at freekicks but I would bet that Ronaldinho is pretty close to him. He even put one under the wall, I mean how can you even think of trying that?

And panch, Dinho's touch is so good because he developed it after countless hours of doing the following:

Just imagine if Ronaldinho in his prime was in the Barcelona team at the moment (playing over Pedro obviously)

I never said Ronaldinho is bad at freekicks, he's amazing at them.

Here are some clips on Maradona's freekicks :

maradona was possibly better, but i think Ronaldinho is way more skillfull. He probably has more tricks in the book then anyone else

No way! Even so (which I don't believe), Ronnie does them all with beautiful flair and maintaining the most perfect technique.

Neymar does more tricks in a game, with less efectivity- Ronaldinho does them 2-3 times per game, with almost 100% succes and perfect technique making it look so elegant -

Neymar is a selfish disrespectful(to the defenders, because he always wants to dribble them) boy, that is exellent on 1 v 1, outstanding, but at the same time looses half of the balls when he tries to leve defenders behind (the other half turn out to be fascinating plays)

Back to Dinho though, i think Neymar will be very special in spite of all the hate he's getting, but no one will ever be as good as him or R9 for a while in their particular aspects, and its said that R10 through to the garbage 4-5 years of profesional football do to the farra's.
