video of one of the most underrated center mids out there. Does anyone else think he is very similar to David Silva? both of them on the same team would be a huge threat. But lets gets back to the point, what do you guys think, should he leave tottenham? where can you guys see him playing? in all honesty i can see him playing in spain definitely, but i think he has adapted well to the english style of play regardless if hes not big or strong
Silva not so much since silva is a left footed winger most days at city. I would like to see him at united somewhat similar to a young scholes. Honestly in 4 years or so he could easily be taken by barca when iniesta starts to age but that's a long way off.
He's one of my favorite players, and he's very underrated, he's good enough for any team in the world.
Tottenham chairman has already ruled out selling luca, which is a bummer because I was looking forward to a new attacking midfielder at Chelsea as lamp's is getting well into the wrong side of 3O. Chelsea could've really used him.
He is the type of player that will score or make some of the best goals you see, but he most definitely isn't the best goal scorer or goal maker. And that is the problem with Youtube compilations, 3:42 of the best bits of his career make him look exceptional, watching him week in, week out against strong opposition and he is average unfortunately.
I think he's over-rated because he lacks consistency. And to be frank in big games, especially in Europe, he faded into the back round.
I don't think he could get into any team in the world, but he is a good player and could see him joining Man City or a club at that sort of level elsewhere.
does anyone think real madrid would ever buy a guy like this? although they probably dont need him cause they have so many other, but i would like to think he would get a start over khedira or granero
Granero doesn't start. Mou already said he is switching to a 4-3-3 next year to accomodate Sahin, there will be no room for Modric, especially if Kaka ends up staying. He said he will plan to play Alonso, Khedira, and Nuri in the midfield with Ozil, Benzema, and Ronaldo up top.

I think he's underrated as well, however to say that he would get preference over Alonso, Ronaldo, Kaka, Ozil, etc.. is pushing it slightly. I prefer to see him stay at Spurs. I've developed a slight soft spot for Tottenham over the last year or so, and Modric is a huge part of that team, the way he links with Van Der Vaart, Pavlyuchenko, Lennon, Bale is always great to watch. It would be interesting to see how he might go at Chelsea, Torres would be excited

i think i might disagree with this, everygame in the epl whether it was arsenal or west ham he owned the center of the mid the whole game, and always found gaps and involved everyone on his team into the game. I also thought he did better than anyone else against barcelona, he came on as a sub but he rarely lost the ball and had a few good touches out there for coming in late. If you look on youtube there is a few great videos of him vs man city, and arsenal and a few other top teams and he plays great every game and never gets lost in the game
yes he was more composed on the ball then all the rest of his teammates ^^ i think if you switch the point of view and put Modric on barcelona against tottenham they would have done just as well or even better who knows :0
But besides the champs league here are some good videos of him against various amount of teams. They include every touch he gets on the ball its not one of the ronaldo videos with only the dribbles he makes or whatever.
