Kenny Dalglish, only saw this option, was it a joke?

Why isn't CR7 on the list if Lionel Messi is? I know Messi is better but they are roughly the same age and both are fantastic talents.

Ill be honest. You were on the cards. I didnt want to cause an uproar on the forum.

Klc, arguably the best British player to ever play the game. Even if you think the others are better thats cool. Hes Britians best but.

R9 rips CR7. He aint getting on the list. In my generation, he is the best player ive seen. I think he eclipses Messi and Zidane. Zidane and R9 have won world cups etc, Messi has one of them to get.

I agree, r9 is clearly better than CR7, but I was merely pointing out that CR7 is now going to go down as a legend because of his scoring record at Manchester and Madrid, and how much of an impact he can have to his teams season, not just one game. Regardless of the haters, he has been Real's most important player for 2 seasons and he was United's most important when he was there also. As for the matter of world cups, well if you are using that as the judgement then just declare Pele the greatest player in history bar none? World cups do not matter in my opinion, because a world cup is a team effort. The only player who deserves a mention about world cups would be Maradona because he near enough beat the world on his own.

WTF? Are you been serious?! For a start, George Best would be classed as British, as Northern Ireland is part of Britain, but I will give you the benefit of the doubt as you have included him. He is in my opinion the greatest British player in history, by quite some margin.

However, second place is certainly not Kenny!
I would say that Charlton, Banks, Moore, Law and maybe even Lineker and Shearer were better than Dalglish. Soz for the rant but I wouldn't consider him arguably the best by any stretch of the imagination.

yea people always hate on CR7 for his "attitude" which i understand but he kinda has a reason to be arrogant... he has the ability to change games when he wants, he was named World Player of the Year and he worked his ass off getting to the top... whether we like it or not he will go down as a legend.

you can also throw in gordon banks... even though hes a keeper he still deserves to be in england's top players...

i still kinda think ronaldo is the greatest cuz he came back from devastating surgeries many times and he was still always able to succeed with style and efficiency

Well many before have raised the point that if he never got injured he would have gone on to become the greatest player the world has ever saw. I guess we will never know.

Heard that before in almost every major sport. It's sad to think on what might of been, but he was incredible in his day even accounting for the injuries.

That's true but you also have to remember Pele was injured and couldn't play for almost the whole World Cup of 1962. Or Maradona's terrible ankle fracture in Barcelona which almost could have been career ending.

Agreed guys. To many "what could have been" players. Players careers ended by injury or eve fall outs with people.

Kenny won heaps mate. Heaps!

He was the puzzle piece to arguably one of the greatest sides to ever live. He wasnt blessed with the skill of Best but did a hell of a lot more in terms of success. George can sit on his CL trophy.

Best would have to be one of the most skillfull.
