I thought Manchester United were the leading team after him at the moment?

I will be truely happy if he going MU... Cuz I'm MU fans... But I think it is not very possible since MU don't have so much money to spend anymore... :(

Yes. I imagine his worth can only go up. No need to jump ship and alienate the fans, unless it's truly money he's after. He doesn't really seem like the type.

That and he'll mature and develop much more, before being transfered to a big club. Thats something club's do with youger players. Maybe if they ship him to a big club as of right now he wouldn't be a starter all the time, and maybe sit out 60 minutes of games. VS he stays in Bremen, starts, is 10, is the star for 1-2 more seasons by the time he's 23 he'll be ready to play and start at the highest level . Better for his career and growth.

How many players don't spoil themselves for transferring a bit to early to another club and just sit out and thenn become average players when they had a promising future?

He's also linked with a big money move to Man City...so it'll just depend how much WB is asking fee-wise. I personally wouldn't overpay due to a WC performance but ManCity and Real Madrid are known for their over-paying abilities.

Apparently United just put a big in for him today. Supposed to be around 16M. Also, Arsenal were supposedly close to signing him years ago for a fraction of that fee, but the negotiations stalled for some reason and never eventuated. Regardless, he is probably one of the most sought after young players in the world since the World Cup.
