Yeah man, you don't hear about it often but I guess it's bound to happen. I remember a hockey player some years back that was hit in between heart beats that cause him to go into cardiac arrest.

ehh, you'd think so just by raw math but I think it's extremely rare. Graham Christie is the guy I was thinking about...he was hit with a puck in the chest and it stopped his heart. With all the sports being played all over the world, the odds are good that something bad can and will happen during a sport, related or not.

He more than likely had an underlying health issue. That sort of thing doesn't happen easily/often, if people were that fabric we would have become extinct a long time ago.

Sad story.
