I don't think Rooney is fat. You can't be at that level.

Rooney is not fat, definitely not. The man is built like a bulldog. He doesn't go and work out in gyms because he doesn't need to. And with all the conditioning it takes to be a pro footballer, Rooney can't be fat.

He is a tank, and yes, maybe one of the strongest also.

Ronaldo 9 in his prime was pretty strong on the ball as well.

Yeah, the real Ronaldo was strong! I was watching some videos and I didn't realize how much he grew outwards during his career! Ah well, still one of my favourites and very very good.

Yes, he did get "bigger" on the ball didn't he. :P

Whatever, he still was a scoring machine.

According to fifa, John Terry appears to be one of the strongest in the game.

Idk, but I've seen a video where Oguchi Onyewu EASILY benches about 265lbs 5 or 6 times. I know that doesn't mean hes the strongest, but it gives one an idea.

Onyewu gets knocked over by wind, he has no balance.

The one, the only Momo Sissoko; he's a tank. Need I say more?

Whoa, his legs are big, and he has a very solid build. You should see Roberto Carlos' and Ronaldo's legs.

A lot of soccer players have legs like that. Its crazy. I was suprised when i went to this DC United camp, and our coaches had massive legs even though they were retired.

I would say that Adriano or Essien are the strongest players.
