Canada was like one of the top nations not long ago and now it seems we have stopped developing and we just can't compete anymore (the proof of the horrid Canadian system of football).

I think Lacrosse as #2 is ridiculous. Hardly anyone actually plays it.

I'm referring to men here,

It's more of:

1. Hockey

The rest is mixed:

2. Baseball
3. American Football
4. Football
5. Basketball

But the 2-5 is totally not really in order I don't think. There's a lot of kids who just play basketball on the street and stuff like that, a few who play competitively, but less than football. American Football is popular as kids get older. Baseball, I actually have no idea how those numbers are. But there are a fair amount of recreational soccer leagues that people play for fun. But hockey takes the cake, ridiculously. Lacrosse, I know of like 2 kids who used to play.

For women I think ringette/hockey is #1, football is #2.

Meh, B-ball is alright here, and you got the Raptors, so that makes sense. Lacrosse is def not popular here.
