ivory coast just scored one too. so now its 2-1. what do you think about the penalty the ref didnt whistle? i think it was clear that there was a penalty against eboue. and i dont think drogba should have got a yellow card for doing wut he did. with the momentum its normal that by accident a foot might hit the goalie. so now he's missing the game against serbia.

From what I've seen, I think the Ivory Coast are unlucky not to have been awarded at least 1 penalty

ok farther in the game ivory coast should have gotten alot more penalties one where he slid and gave a corner instead of a pk even tho the difender didnt touch the ball. its late i think this games gonna stay 2-1

The Dutch cruise through to the next round having won their first game 1-0, and their second game 2-1, after a strike from Van Persie and a goal from Van Nistelrooij after a series of touches. Bakari Kone scored a goal for Ivory Coast, but to no avail.

Ivory Coast should not have lost the Argentina match
Ivory Coast should not have lost the Holland match

They got cheated.....I am seething with bitterness and content by the shite officiating this World Cup. It seems to me underdogs are having desicions always go against them.

Maybe its FIFA's way of ensuring a big teams final..

Nice goal though :)

yes its a shame. i wanted an african team to make it through, and i was supporting ivory coast. i think they could have tied or won. so far the african teams that have been cheated from penalties are ivory coast and ghana. i dont remember the togo match and i didnt watch the tunisian game. its crazy. times like these i wish there was a camera option. like the coach had one chance during the whole game to use a camera to go over what happened. cuz it seriously sucks how da refs make mistakes.

I think its pretty pathetic that a person as tall as peter Crouch has to play cheap and pull on someones hair to get up above them for a header. Just the fact that England has to rely on a goal like this, especially against T&T is upsetting with the amount of depth England has...

I really really dislike Peter Crouch. What a shame they didn't see that during the game.

i saw him mess up a perfect cross from beckham as i was watching the summary of the game, and i was thinking that defoe should have been selected instead of crouch. he's so tall but he still had to keep the T and T defender down.

First half, he missed a volley from about 7 yards when he had so much space and also put a free header miles wide

Second half he put another header over and also tried to flick up and over-head kick a cross when he had the space to striker it first time with his left foot

Our tournament is doomed cos we didn't pick enough fit strikers

I alwyas said Crouch sucks, and I still say that, he only plays because of his height. As to today's games great job by Argentina I felt sorry for S&M. I though the Holland game was great and the Dutch were pretty lucky to win. I dint rly watch the Mexico game but I heard it wasnt all that great. I can't belive they didn't win. As to the arrests after the Poland-Germany game, even though its a shame Im not suprised, Polish people hate Germans Germans hate Polish people (usually, of course there are exeptions)
