In the entire tournament there was 1 character who was the most important to the functioning of the beautiful game and I want this thread to honour that person.

Clearly this man is the new face of soccer and will be for years to come.

Love his tenacity, and his willingness to perform day in and day out. A tireless workhorse who would be a credit to any club. I expect the offers to start piling up in the coming days/weeks. Can you spell endorsement?

Personally he has become my favourite player. I just wonder how I can get him to sign my boots...?

Also I should get that picture in poster form and build a little shrine around it.
