Who should get these awards in your opinions.

Golden ball (best player):
Silver ball:
Bronze ball:

Yashin award (best goalkeeper):

Best young player:

Most entertaining team:

FIFA has released a shortlist for the Golden ball and best young player.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/footbal ... 804708.stm

My picks:
Golden ball (best player):Sneijder
Silver ball: Sweinsteiger
Bronze ball: Xavi

I had Sweinsteiger for a long time, but usually the winner of the award at least makes it to the final so I'll switch to Sneijder, though Sweinsteiger can still win it IMO.

Yashin award (best goalkeeper): Casillas

Best young player: Müller

Most entertaining team: Germany

￾Özil doesn't qualify for the young player award because he was already 21 by the start of the year.

definitely. He's 20 and has a chance to be the golden boot winner (if neither Villa or Sneijder score as he's leading on goals+assists).
He had a great year at Bayern Munich and he's continued that, and even played above his club form. We'll be hearing about him for years to come.

Nobody cares...... :P I joke I joke

But seriously, I'm glad Forlan won the Golden Ball. He pretty much carried his team and was a class act. He played like a true captain.
