Panch, I agree with you, up until that point that a spanish player rolled around on the floor for nothing to get someone sent off in a world cup match. For that, I can't wait till they get destroyed.
They play Germany or Argentina if they beat Paraguay right?
They're was a foul, Costa did Elbow Capdevilla, just before he jumped he elbowed him softly but in the face, Capdevilla over reactedd a bit but still there was conctact and bad intention.

Are you kidding me? It wasn't even a booking. He touched his face as he ran past to go up for the ball. There was a worse foul on Ronaldo about 5 minutes before when the same defender ran square into Ronaldo when he jumped for the ball and pushed him with his hands
In my opinion Argentina has whats needed to beat Germany. They already beat them in March, and Germany has been outplayed for long periods of times by teams like Ghanna and Serbia. I don't wanna get into debates with anybody, but my prediction is Argentina wins this saturday.
Brazil will beat Netherlands imo.
I hope Uruguay beats Ghanna but its gonna be hard. Prediction : Uruguay
Spain to beat Paraguay: It will be deadly, Paraguay isn't going down easy.
KLC I think it was a foul and it deserved a red card, but I haven't any video of it.
Did anyone see Ronaldo spitting at the end? Was he spitting at the camara man or just spitting in general?:
I think it was mostly in general due to frustration. Cronaldo didnt really perform like a captain is supposed to. He got easily frustrated by spain's physical marking. After he was bumbed off on a run by busquets, he looked at the ref to appeal for a foul. The ref motioned "play-on" and he just stood there with hands on his hips. The ball returned to the area close to him but he wasnt ready to make a run into space to get the ball. If he had shrugged it off and focused, then he could have had a chance facing the goal near the box.
Arsenalfc08,
its
Uruguay vs Ghana ..............................................Argentina vs Germany
Netherlands vs Brazil-----------------------------------Paraguay vs Spain
So considering the way things go. There might be a rematch of 2002 final or the 1974 final. Will Spain make an appearance in their first ever final and win? There is also a possibility of an Argentina vs Brazil finale which will be absolutely nuts!
Uruguay - Ghana -----------------------Netherlands - Brazil
If that mess makes any sense.. So theres a possibility of a rematch between spain and germany of the 08 european finals just this time it would be in the semi finals... or a duel of the 2 spanish speaking giants, tiki-taka vs gambeta :O (i just made that up) .. brazil - argentina is a possible final a

I'd really like to see a Germany-Netherlands final (even though I picked Brazil to win it all) I think that'd be really interesting considering style of play and the rivalry they've had with each other. IMO the Netherlands-Germany rivalry is the most underrated rivalry in world football.
So much better without Italy in it
