Same here, the main reason I was so excited about Liverpool going top of ladder earlier on in the season was so we would extend the gap between us and ManU over who has the most titles.

I agree with whoever it was that Wanderer quoted. We have the defence, the strikers (best in the world actually), the wide pacey players who attack the defence (Babel, Riera, Benayoun etc), some good central and defensive mids (alonso, masch), and of course Steven Gerrard. All good players, but now you mention it, if we put a player in there with Gerrard like Arsharvin, it would give Liverpool a whole new dimension and unpredictability, and that sort of added X factor that could get us the title.

These stupid draws cost us last year, and if they cost us the title again, then they should sack Benitez.

The Liverpool forums on LFCTV absolutely knock Benitez through the roof. The guy has nothing to lose. Take risks vs Chelsea, if he doesnt play both Torres and Keane I reckon, the fans will expect same old same old and lose faith in Rafa even before the game.

rafa needs to show more faith in keane or else hes just going to continue not scoring goals and if he gives torres and keane time working together they can become the most lethal strike partners in the premier league as they easily have the talent

Q: Why did Terry Butcher not shake Maradona's hand?

No, you are wrong. Its because Maradona is a cheating, drug ridden dwarf.

you guys are just as much crap as Liverpool so I don't know what you're talking about.

I'm hoping for a 0-0 result with a couple red cards and injuries to go along with it.

No agger and gerrar on the right. Thas no taking a risk, thats just dumb. We need to go with a direct formation s teams are finding it easier to cope with our 4-2-3-1. I think some siilar to a 4-4-2 if not the same should be used.

Reina
Arbeloa .. Carra .. Agger .. Aurelio
Kuty .. Alonso .. Gerrard .. Riera
Babel ... Torres

Thats the strongest defense we have avaliable at the moment, same with the midfield minus mascher but alonso has been amazing recently. Up front is just pace and more pace. Both strong and good finishers.

And tevez if you think chelsea will batter lpool then you really havent watched chelsea recently.

Liverpool should take a leaf out of Sydney FC's book

and tbh, midfield

Gerrard Alonso Mascherano Riera

looks pretty fine.

Gerrard just doesn't have the football brain to play in the middle. He just has physical excellence and decent shots. so puttin him on the right wud give him freedom to make runs or shoot or do whatever he wants.

Alonso has the brains and technique, even if I dun like his style of long balls.

Mascherano can be the destroyer.

Mascherano needs to calm the fu** down.

lol @ stevie g for diving and getting called on it. Maybe that will learn him.

two great goals from torres, if long in the making. Anyone notice benayoun vainly trying to share in the glory of his second celebration? Felt a bit bad for him myself.

Putting in benayoun was definitely a good sub. That's the first and probably the last time I will say that.

HOORAY!!!
