In this game and in others Liverpool play like this (when they don’t have nando)

--------------------------------Keane---------------------------------
---------------------------Gerrard------------------------------------
---Riera----------------------------------------------------Babel, etc.-
------------------Mascherano-------Alonso-------------------------
--Insua, etc. ----------------------------------------------Arbeloa----
---------------------Agger------------Carragher---------------------
----------------------------Reina--------------------------------------

Look we win but I have to say it is not as pretty as other formations we play. I love it when both Masch and Alonso play but I don’t like it when Gerrard plays where he did today.
That position firstly should be filled in by Keane. He cannot play out and out like he did and does, yes he missed some sitters but he played awesome against Bolton in that hole position.
In saying that I think Stevie plays that role just as well but is awesome in CM. It is ugly when he is standing up there as a striker, he reminds me of the little kid who has just been promoted to striker after weeks of winging about it. I know whats best for the team is best for the team but Liverpool kill teams when he drops back and assists in the passing. I hope when Nando gets back we play like this (considering Alonso is out for a while< which I don’t want)

---------------------------------Torres-----------------------------------
-------------------------Keane------------------------------------------
--Riera---------------------------------------------------------Babel-----
-----------------Mascherano-----------Gerrard----------------------
--Insua-----------------------------------------------------Johnson (I hope)—
------------------Agger/skrtel------Carra------------------------------
---------------------------------Reina-----------------------------------

I also hope Babel regains his confidence and gets a little better at crossing, he is brilliant when hes playing well with confidence, the 2nd half showed glimpses of that.

never expected toure to score a messi type goal. For a clumsy looking fellow he is a good dribbler

also valencia beat madrid 3-1. Penalties from david villa and diego forlan. David Silva saved the day with a brace, which included a stunning 30 yard strike. Nice to see him back from injury and wreaking havoc.

I'm pretty sure all the Italian teams don't play till the 10th, I know Inter doesn't play till then.

Lol yeah man, I sometimes forget to change the score when typing in the goal-scorers

thought you were talking about kolo for a sec, but the two bro's are actually pretty good technical players especially with dribbling and passing

He played very very well in that position yesterday, created most of you chances (along with Riera) keane was phenomnally un-clinical, like what did you do to him this year? :D

Thats really weird cause last year it was spurs united in the 4th round

Arsenal vs Cardiff is another one to add to that list

haha to be fair, they didn't do much owning. preston had a goal called back and controlled a lot of the ball. They didn't score their second goal until late

Arjen Robben scored a pretty sick goal against Villareal yesterday. Real Madrid won 1-0 because of it.
