in away ronaldo is like the Henry of Man utd. Remember when Henry left if gave other players the oppertunities to step up like Fabergas, and he didnt disappoint so it could work the same with United but some how i dont see Rooney or Tevez ever scoring 25+ a season.

neither do i but i think that the team as a whole could end up scoring more goals.

I honestly can, Tevez did great in his debut season, and Rooney spent most the time playing out of position, (which supposedly fergie will change this season)
TBH Rooney and Tevez don't get the service they should be getting as forwards, they are usually providing the service, and when one does score it's usually because of the other. I'd say without cr7 they could both very possibly have 25+ goal seasons. Rooney isn't that old either so I don't get why you have written him off already, if he was 28 I could see it but he's not. If he plays his position this season, with or without cr7 I see a 25+ goal season

a couple of years ago everybody was saying Rooney was one of the best players in the world.... i think if he plays his position like 2brown said and regains his form he could be right thr agn...also he need somebody like a fabregas or gerrard to play through balls to them.

I don't think he's lost his form, just he hasn't been able to shine due to the cr7 factor. TBH when I watch old Man U games with the Beckham and the gang :P they were IMO a much better team. They provide more service of the forwards and worked the ball as a team much better, and cr7 is the kind of player that disrupts that.

It beats me why everyone thinks tottenham will do so well, theyve had far too much change in their squad, the best they will finish is 5th and even thats unlikely IMO.

Hahaha Spurs and Everton both lost today! Spurs' money hasnt paid off, losing to Middlesborugh! I think Villa will finish 5th (Im not being biased I seriously belive that)

I think most people would agree with me on this one. I think Spurs' will still finish well.

Like I said yesterday Messi, with Keane and Berba means they lost about 80% of their goal input. They need to find a quick replacement for a striker before that 80% turns them into mid-table garbage again.

Oh, and I was way disappointed with Liverpool's performance today. That goal Torres scored was consolation more than anything, a tiny little positive on their terrible game, so as last season how Torres made a horrible season seem normal.

My top 7:

1) Man Utd
2) Liverpool
3) Chelsea
4) Arsenal/Villa
5) Villa/Arsenal
6) Everton
7) West Ham (I got good hopes on this team right now)
