best USA state

Post by kurrupt11 » 20 Nov 2007, 05:00

I was wondering which state has the best soccer players. I currently live in NoRthErN CaliForNia And I know some good a$$ players that are on great teams. They go to tournaments around the US and most of the time they do well. I just wanted to know who you guys think has the best players.

As far as youth players go (you mean youth right?) Texas is probably the best. Their teams may not win the national championship every year, but they consistently have at least one team in the top 5 for both girl's and boy's every season.
The universe is full of so many variables, that any argument can be made to seem plausible.

i've played against teams from Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, all up and down the east coast.

i'd say my state, virginia, has some decent talent, we won most of those games.
if a quiz is quizzical, then what's a test?

But there wasn't one boys team from VA who made it out of regionals last year...

Texas and California are typically very strong. With others there are great clubs here and there but not as many as in those two states.

i'm from Michigan, we're alright, kind of inconsistent. one year we have multiple teams make it to nationals, and then the next we have none. some pretty good players though

historically i know Virginia's been pretty good. Illinois has some good teams as well.

if you view the topic of the teams in the national soccer academy a majority of them are from California. And I believe the ODP District in my area, District VII is the most prestigious in sending players to the national team and beating foreign teams and winning foreign tournaments.

if we take players up to 19 the best ones are from Florida or are in Florida.

Illinois has some decent talent, while the state is not concentrated with talents like California and Texas, it cacn put some really good teams together from teams like the Sockers and Chicago Magic who are the top teams but then i can think of multiple others who really good. The Sockers and Magic can compete with any team in the nation.
