Can I lose my fitness?

Post by diegowerder » 25 Nov 2007, 02:23

can I loose my fitness in 4 days if I do not do sprints or go to the gym and only jog 2 miles a everyday?

how would that affect someone?

How many days does it take to lose your fitness?

more than 4 days, that's for sure. I'd say about a week and a half-to-two weeks would probably be the time that it would take. At least that's how long I was off between high school and club seasons and I became extremely rusty during that time period cause I didn't play with anyone while I was off.

So jogging 2 miles a day won't keep me the way I was before the 4 days?

im kinda confused what ur asking diegowerder. i thought you meant that jogging 2 miles a day wouldnt keep you in shape, however, i wouldnt worry about losing your fitness. It only takes about 2 weeks for people our age to get in shape (according to my high school varsity coach)

4 days off completely won't make you lose your fitness. So 2 mile jogs definitely won't.

Yea you shouldnt lose your fitness in 4 days but it doesnt help if you eat burgers and chips all week, your nutritional habits are just as important :)

why do you guys even answer these stupid questions?!

no, it is impossible to lose fitness in 4 days...

you need to jog about 2 miles everyday for exactly 5 days 7 hours 25 minutes and 32 seconds to lose your fitness...
