Mexico vs Usa

Post by soccerdude510 » 22 Jun 2007, 17:35

So who do you guys predict will win the cup....who ever wins gets a pass to the Confederations Cup...although I am a fan and completly mexican I think it's going to be a real close match and I personally believe that the Us is gonna take it....and the final score will be 2-1...who ever takes this match its going to be close and they are going to win by the minimun difference...I do want Mexico to win becuase they will do better then the Us in the Confederation's Cup becuase if the Us goes agianst a good team like Argentina or Brazil they will loose easily and for some reason Mexico looses to the Us all the time but when it comes down to Mexico vs Brazil or Argentina or any good rival Mexico always seem to put up a good fight so lets see who wins

Really?

We got a draw with Italy in the World Cup last year and played down a man. We also outplayed Germany and should have beaten then in the quaterfinals in 2002. The ref didn't call a clear handball on the line.

Anyway, I think the final is going to go down to penalty kicks with the U.S winning.

I'm only responding to you saying "the U.S loses to any good teams easily".

Which is not the case.

USA will probably win but just barely , like they did in all of the other rounds like scorin a couple goals and the nholding on for dear life , they beat canada who was playing great , better than Mexico so U never know .

Right, they only lose to bad teams easily, haha just kidding, don't kill me.

Anyway I think Mexico could win actually, it's really just a gut feeling but I'm pretty sure they're going to take it.

That game should have went to extra time.

Anyway... US are gonna win because they are %100 on the gold cup when they should be focusing on Copa America...

What a goal by Feilhaber! That might have been the best half of football I've ever seen the USA play. (Well, except for the missed chances by Ching and Beasley). Still, what a game :D

I think that shows that Mexico's success in dribbling around and linking up so well in the first half was down to poor defending by the USA, not that Mexico was better. Once we tightened things up in the back Mexico struggled to get chances. I thought Bocanegra was fantastic, and Onyewu finally showed glimpses of what he can do.

Yes, that goal by Feilhaber was quite a strike. i couldn't stop saying "WOW!" Sanchez had no idea what hit him.

and ching was unlucky...but beasley was just bad.
