Toronto FC WIN!

Post by rzadzinski » 13 May 2007, 00:41

Yes, it's happened! They scored their first goal and won the game 3-1! If anyone sees the replays, don't you just love our Canadian fans?

They went nuts after goal 1!! :)

No. That's like 2000km away from my house. Other side of the country. But I was watching it on tv. :P

Yes, I was. It was such an amazing game. They gave out seat cushions that were incredibly "frisbee-like". :)

Just an awesome experience.

Haha yep, and people kept throwing them back! ...so every call against TFC meant that thousands of these things went onto the field.

At the end of the game, they were stacking them back up and so I grabbed a few to bring home. :)

its about time they scored..im sorry but they are terrible.

i know they are a new team, but they have some talent, and i dont know if its the coach or if its just the players lacking chemistry but my god, when i watch their games, i just crindge :x

Well, I find that sometimes they look like they are "meshing" together as a team, but then other times, they look like crap. I don't know, all expansion teams are bad when they come into the league, so we'll see in time.

I know what you're saying. I could hardly watch the first few games.

But now they seem more together, and they beat Chicago, no easy task!!!

Well, I suppose we'll see tonight (Wed. May 16). Game is at 7:00pm Eastern Time. I'm not going to this one, but I am there on Saturday.

Let's go TFC!

Sorry about the double post, but Toronto FC got their second win tonight vs. Huston.

Good game all around. Huston had a chance or two early, but Andy Welsh got his head on the end of a free kick and scored in the 26th. I thought Welsh, O'brien, Robinson, and Buddle played awesome.

One of my favourites is Eskandarian, but I'm still waiting for him to score one. He'll get one no doubt, but it may take some time. Anyway, I can't wait for Saturdays game.
