they won the world cup, the champion gets an automatically ticket to the next world cup

you know what, i have no idea, but i remember they said that the world champion gets an automatically ticket in the world cup, as well as the home national team.

I've heard talking about giving the champion an automatic birth but it hasn't been announced as far as I know.

every past world cup the champions and the host nation get an automatic birth into the world cup but it might have changed for 2006.

They scrapped the rule that World Cup holders qualify automatically. Only the hosts (Germany) qualify automatically, Brazil have to play for the right to be in the World Cup.

they pretty much automatically qualify anyway though. they can beat just about anyone right now

I also believe they won't win, Europe has to tie South America with most World Cup wins by a continent.
