My favorite for the tournament is Ghana. They are really becoming a threat to other nations in the world, not just Africa.

It's a shame it won't be televised over here in America, at least not that I know of.

Yeah Benin has no chance and I'm glad Togo didn't qualify too. When Mali beat them at home for the final game Togo started a big fight and the supporters got involved and all that. It got ugly.

The tournament will be held in Ghana this year in Late January through February I think. The first post of this topic was from the last tourney, but I didn't want to make a whole new topic so I posted the groups for the new tournament. So the ones you see at the end of the first page are the groups for Ghana 2008.

Oh, I actually didn't know about that. The reason I am glad Togo didn't qualify is because it means Adebayor can continue playing with Arsenal during the tournament.

Oh okay. He's been in really good form this season. But the reason im glad is because i've got something against them. Beautiful qualification match for the world cup 2006 and senegal was up by 2 goals and playing beautiful football like arsenal, but unfortunately togo came back and drew the game 2-2 and then we didnt qualify for the world cup. But i've gotta give props because Togo had a good run during the qualifiers .
