African style of football

Post by J » 04 Oct 2005, 04:11

To any of you who get to watch the top african proffesional leagues, what kind of style do they play? and does it vary in different parts of the continent? The african national teams seem to produce some good talent, so i was just wondering what the style of play is there in their top leagues, because iv never really gotten to see any games on TV from there.

well i cant say much for western africa but in eastern africa we are very posession oriented we'll forget about the goal at somtimes lol this comes from in the streets they when they play there is no goal the whole point is to posess so they take this on the field thats why u dont see an eastern african player whos got a rocket of a foot lol the passing is very percice and alot of air balls but to feet kind of like the germans.

Africans are fast. They are very possesion oriented. They will be great to play with. If your going to. I kinda repeated everybody huh. after reading them.
