Yeah nice goal from Terry and of course it comes from a Beckham freekick, just like every other England goal.

It was a nice finish by Gerrard. He had good composure and easily tucked it into the far post. Where the hell was the US defense though? Gerrard got through too easily.

that usa wouldve demolished if they had donavan and fielhaber in the game, also that adu and edu added some nice quality at the end..also i dont want to see josh wolf play ever again...........for england they had a nice second goal, but still the usa were demolishing them at the end of the game

Im so glad we won
They had thier key player missing but to be honest, I couldn't see him breaking our defence anyway.
We have the superior squad, didn't play great, still got a result
Not a great game for a fence sitter

England were always going to win.

It ws a waste of time, I honestly though the US were alright but they seemed to me pretty shite.

Donovan would have done just as much as Wolff; jack sh*t. JT and Rio are the two best CB's in the world atm, yeah Donovans a good player but he hasn't got anything they haven't seen (and dealt with) before). Johnson had pace over JT, but he did nothing because John completely zoned him out of the game.

Benny Feilhaber isn't even good :/
Adu is stupishly over-rated.
Only players I though did relatively well were Dempsey (got about a bit), Bocanegra (why Fulham? he's better than your other defenders) and Beasley (decent delivery, good runnign at full-backs).

The class overlap didn't really show but it was apparent that England are a much better side.

well yes england was supposed to win, but i think if we had donavon, who was probably dying for a win for his 100th cap, then it wouldve been more interesting to see, since he sparks the offense

as for fielhaber, he is a very very good holdin midfielder, and has really good touches and passing, and is very smart, dearby county was lucky to get him, he deserves to be on a good epl team, personally i could see him on tottenham hotspurs. its just that any other teams havent got a good look at him, and im sure they will get to see his goods, if he his healthy by the u-23 olympics.

and adu is also a good midfielder, he did look a little nervous in the beginning but it comes with the young age since hes getting used to playing with the big guys, but at the very end of the game he started looking good

OJ you gotta remember that Donovan's impact is more then just what he does on the field, right now he's pretty much the heart of the US national team.

I agree Bocanegra should be at a bigger club, I think he should at least be at a mid table club TBH.

Feilhaber is good, it's just he doesn't get lots of opportunities to show it. If you listen to a lot of experts from games, news, talk shows etc. they seem to all think he should be at a bigger club, and be getting playing time at that.

AND if you watched Adu during the Olympic qualifying games you woulda seen y people think he's good. No-one is saying he's the next Pele, but he's a good player.

Hopefully next game we'll see Jozy. :?
