No, nothing more at present. There are definitely discussions going on about it but it hasn't been confirmed yet. I think it was actually down on the FIFA website as a fixture.

That story relates to the 30 man squad for the France match which is announced later today.

Walcott will never be a regular for England until he is first choice at his club.

England v USA at Wembley on 28 May has been confirmed

i love the US team...but i don't see us winning this one. England is just way too powerful. it'll be a good game though. as the game gets closer we'll learn who will and won't be playing. it's too early to make a score predicition

Well if Fabio has really got his head on straight(and the teams)then this game should just be a warmup for the English squad...

Considering the game is in like 8 days I figured I'd try to bring some life into this topic.

Here who was on the preliminary us roster.
The roster:

Goalkeepers: Dominic Cervi (no club), Brad Guzan (Chivas USA), Tim Howard (Everton, England)

Defenders: Carlos Bocanegra (Fulham, England), Dan Califf (Midtjylland, Denmark), Steve Cherundolo (Hannover, Germany), Jay DeMerit (Watford, England), Oguchi Onyewu (Standard Liege, Belgium), Michael Orozco (San Luis, Mexico), Heath Pearce (Hansa Rostock, Germany), Jonathan Spector (West Ham, England)

Midfielders: Freddy Adu (Benfica, Portugal), DaMarcus Beasley (Glasgow Rangers, Scotland), Michael Bradley (Heerenveen, Netherlands), Ricardo Clark (Houston), Benny Feilhaber (Derby, England), Eddie Lewis (Derby, England)

Forwards: Clint Dempsey (Fulham, England), Landon Donovan (Los Angeles), Nate Jaqua (no club), Eddie Johnson (Fulham, England), Josh Wolff (no club)

---
I expect a lineup like
Tim Howard
Heath Pearce-Carlos Bocanegra-Oguchi Onyewu-Jonathan Spector
-----------------Michael Bradley-Eddie Lewis
Landon Donovan-----------------------------------Freddy Adu
-----------------Clint Dempsey-Eddie Johnson

I'd expect a 4 man mid field but I'm counting on Donovan and the left mid (who I hope is Adu) pushing up a lot, I'm also hoping Feilhaber leaves f-ing Derby and moves to a club that doesn't suck and will play him, but until then I wouldn't start him.

Odds are the lineup won't look like that, but I'd like it if it did.

USA 2--------------------------1 England
(Donovan, Adu)_____________(IDK)

With Donovan's season so far in MLS I don't see him not scoring this game.

im hoping to see benny fielhaber play, he is a very very talented holding midfielder and needs to have a chance to display his talent and show derby county they have missed ot on using a great talent, and hopefully he will get traded to another team that is scouting so he can be back in the epl

Yeah it looks like it will be a pretty close game. but I have a question. Why the heck is Donovan not playing in Europe somewhere. I mean really especially after 2002 why is he still playing in the MLS. it's crazy.

I've heard 3 reasons and I think it's a combination of all.
1. His wife (who is European) wanted to live in the USA and for him to play here and since she is fine he agreed.

2. He just basically wanted to be closer to his family (whole family) not an ocean apart.

3. He wants to help the MLS grow, as well as football overall in the USA.

but I do agree he could/should be in Europe, but since he's not I'm hoping he crushes the scoring record this season, which seems more then possible. (MLS scoring record)

His wife is actually not European, she's American, her name (Bianca Kajlich) is a Slovakian name, so the name is European, but she herself isn't
