Post by eddy192837 » 03 Apr 2011, 17:12

Alright so i was playing soccer inside my house and i hit my knee against the sharp corner of a table, it hurt alot in the beginning but i tried to continue playing.. When i tried to continue it always hurt after a while or when i made a turn soi had to stop (btw thi was friday).. Yesterday it hurt and was cracking like for 2 hrs non stopp whenever i walked ccuz i went to a thwme park.. Today it barely hurts just like a little, if at all.. But it still cracks like every 10-20 steps randomly. Im goin to the doctor in two days but does anyone know whats wrongg?

At first I didn't think much of your injury, just a knock, but the cracking suggest something a little more serious. You may have a very small fracture IMO, maybe just a hairline fracture?

Everything you need, is already inside.

Its impossible to know exactly what damage you've done. My guess is that if its not causing too much discomfort, its probably nothing serious.

The doctor will be able to give you a better idea or maybe refer you to a sports physio.

Yee i went to the athletic trainer in school and he said its nothing serious, just a bit of swelling in a part of the knee and that is probably the cause of the cracking.. He said i can play and everything without limitations but it might hurt a little.. Thank god nothing serious happened and I can continue playing without delay :D
