Keep your head and eyes up looking straight ahead while dribbling while walking. Then when you can do that comfortably go to jogging, then running etc.

Another way is to start with a few glances upward every 10 yards (while going at speed). Keep looking up more and more until you don't need to look down.

Hehe.

Well, it is true.

Just program looking up just like anything else. Before you receive the ball look around for options (increases vision), and then look at the ball control it. Once under control get into a habit of looking up for options while still maintaining a peripheral view of the ball. It's not too hard once you get the hang of it.

If You Look Down It Is Not Good....

1. You cannot see who is tracking you...

2. You cannot see the field or anybody who is asking for the ball...

simple reason's ^^

Look Up :D.

Start off by walking with the ball but not looking at it. Look straight ahead, but make sure you can see the ball out of the corner of your feild of vision, so its not completely out of sight. That way you can see around you and have a basic idea of where the ball is. Start off by walking and gradually increase the pace to a running speed when you feel your ready. Glancing at the ball every now and then is ok but try to limit this. Then when your a good at that, try doing the same thing but without looking at the ball at all and rarely glancing down at it.
