Where do you train ? Home? WALL? Grass

Post by riseup » 04 May 2007, 07:01

Anyone would like to share WHERE they train and what are the good points about it and bad points about it? Also what kind of shoes or boots should be worn?
For example, these are some location i can think of i have access to

Good for juggling small balls and tricks and ball control, not good for shooting

Wall at nearby building
Good for shooting and passing

small clean field at nearby park

Good for dribbling and mini games with mates

muddy but large field some distance away

hard to say. have not try it.

five a side court nearby
same as above

I have all of these :D . I feel so lucky sometimes. I like the wall though because when you try and shoot on a field, you end have having to run for the ball everytime (unless you're playing with someone else then in that case the field).

I don't have a very safe neighborhood to go and play at a field. I normally play in the street, or in the side of my yard. Only after school do i really have a good place to practice, where me and a bunch of other people run over to the field (other city), which is in a safer place.

Sideyard: Good for curling practice, shot accuracy, ball control.
Street: Whatever, it's good for just about anything.

Well im a defender so i train at home in my garden, i very rarely practice shooting, cos my neighbours get annoyed wen i hit it into their garden lol. I just do cone drills, practicing my touch from dropping the ball down from a height, juggling, heading practice, throwing practice and all that stuff. I do a little bit of shooting too.

I have some soccer fields that I bike down to everyday. There is also a wall down there so I have pretty much everything I need except people!
