What types of shoes to wear for training in different places

Hi all, just curious, what do you wear if you are training on pavement? Soccer boots or regular shoes or barefoot? What about if you are at home? I would think barefoot, but just like to hear from everybody. Lastly, do you think it would be good to train on grass with normal shoes instead of soccer boots?

No, wearing cleats on grass is better because you have better traction. Regular shoes don't have the surface or the material that is sufficient for soccer. Indoor soccer shoes are fine though, if you don't mind slipping once in a while on wet and sleek surfaces.

what about training on pavement? I have to get used to boots after mostly playing barefoot. But i think i would be spending alot of training time on a pavement ground as there is a wall there.

I would say indoor shoes or just regular shoes if you're training on pavement, or that's what i use and it's worked for me so far.
