How often do you train?

Just curious of how often you guys train, by your self and with a team.

Well since i had surgery on my knee last year, i dont play for anyone at the moment, enjoy playing for fun to be honest, if its a nice day i will go do some shooting at local football pitch and thursdays i play 7 a side, contemplating training hard again this summer though.

When i was at school i did about an hour and a bit more by myself a day and i trained twice a week with my team.

Lol now i dont get anytime to play with myself (sexual innuendo not intended)

I used to practice one or two days a week, but after joining this site im planning to be more serious about soccer.

Although, im currently injured so im taking a 2 week break.

I used to train 3 times a week plus juggling whenever possible but now I do not train since I have given up the dream of becoming pro. Now I only play for fun but I still do jogging and stretching thrice a week. :D
Not an ideal workout routine by any means. :oops:

at least twice a week with my team between 1 and a half hours to 2 and a half hours, more than an hour by myself and sometimes a pickup game with my friends. usually 1-3 games on the weekends.

i've been obsessed with freestyle lately so thats taken priority over individual training the past 3 weeks. i still train alot with my team though. 3/4 times a week for 2 hours each, and i have academy training 4 times a week for 1 hour each.

- Three times a week with the team (4-5 when in preparation for large events)
- Twice a week in the gym (weights, treadmill sprints, some agility work)
- Juggling, dribbling, and wall work periodically
- Once weekly long distance run (more for personal reasons and a mental release)

This is just what I've found works for me. When my teams starts practicing 5 times a week I pretty much limit everything else and really focus on my game because practices are intense and I use the 2 other days to rest, recover, and just mentally relax.

Not as often as I'd like to be honest. Over the last semester I've been doing a university paper on top of high school, which has taken up most of my spare time. I have however been doing fitness training three times a week, plus two games. As soon as I finish the uni paper though, I'm going to throw in a few more skills based training sessions, because I can really feel that they have dropped a little due to my focussing on my studies so much.
