After you can juggle completely with ease you might wanna try juggling with rhythim..
So go left foot - right foot - left thigh - right thigh -head - left thigh - right thigh - left foot - right foot..
Repeat

You can also go, left foot, right foot and then over your head, control with left, and with your right flick it back over your head again..... Repeat

Also, an option is juggling with smaller ball..

Last you can go only one foot, like 100 in a row with left.. 100 in a row with your right, and switching untill you get to 3000, which each...

Do that and your control, coordination, touch, and speed of foot will increase greatly

Also, try while juggling kick the ball about 2-3 times higher than you normally kick it. When the ball comes back down control it and just keep on juggling.

Also another drill you can do is play like a soccer tennis game with a wall...I always do that when I dont have a training partner....

can you alternate between juggling with the instep and with the inside of the foot (as mainly i control a high ball with the inside of my foot) and would this be benefitial?

I wrote a long list of juggling drills here:

My drills:
*Regular juggling
*Tennis ball juggling
*Right-foot\Left-foot only
*High-low (4-6 normal touches, then hit it 2-3x your height)
*Juggling while walking\running
*Sit down juggling

Optional:
*Maradona 7 (right foot, right thigh, right shoulder, head, left shoulder, left thigh, left foot)
*Freestyling

I used to do each of these drills for 10 minutes a day, then practice one specific skill (eg. volleys, shooting, chipped passing, etc) and some fitness. It helped me so much I can hardly explain. I highly recommend it based on what you're trying to improve.
