Im not sure if this was discussed but I had been experimenting different methods of kicking an outside bend with more power when I tried this.

I had approached the ball the same way as any shot, and I loaded the same too but, at the last second I was about to shoot, I twisted my foot from outward to inward
It turned out it worked even better than usual.
Take a look at these guys.

Very nice on the first shot, is that you?

very impressive. that was really nice with a lot of bend to it. i've been experimenting with different ways to get an outside bend on the ball but that's better than what i've been able to accomplish

damn man i wish i could do that  ...the only time i can put outside swerve on the ball is on a volley(really effective from long range, like outside the 18) which puts a wicked spin on the ball, keeper is rendered helpless :D :D :D

honestly, it's whatever works for you. there's not one way to do it.

Yes i know what you mean with the volley. It much easier since the ball is in the air and all you have to do is turn your instep and BANG!

But I cant figure out how this guy is doing it.

It seems like he is just instep drive on the side or somethin
anbody know?

yeah, the guy above me got it right. Mine is not as good as the dude in the first video but we use the same technique..

here's how you do it: you don't make contact with the outside of your foot but with the instep. You just hit the ball a little more on the left and change your swing. This way you get more power, therefore more spin.

performing an instep is quite magical. haha.

it doesn't work the way an inside foot curve does.
it's spot on, easy to get on target when you get the proper form.

i know how to do such an crazy outside swerve ;)

PROOF:

it's "just" hitting the ball a little bit more right of the instep and following through to the opposite way (as a righty to the left, as a lefty vice versa)
it takes some time to get it done, but it's worth it!

i figured that out when i was just kicking the ball around because i was bored and now it's my secret weapon against the goalies!^^

*edit* i forgot the link^^
