Juggling helps but really juggling is the best way to improve juggling. If you want to train your first touch then get someone to pass the ball to you and then control it with one touch... or.. when you juggle kick the ball high into the air and control it with your first touch and repeat

Juggling helps first touch only to an extent. When you juggle, the ball isnt that far from your foot, so say in a game, someone plays a low drive to you, it may be harder to control. First touch is also not only about having the ball fall to your feet. Taking a good first touch can help you beat a man without even dribbling. The best way to improve your first touch is to have the ball played to you, or play it to yourself, in game-like situations, so your touch is good in all areas.

juggling only helps a little.

but the benefits of a wall are priceless. so find one and practice your shots and trapping at the same time.
if a quiz is quizzical, then what's a test?
