I tried repeatedly (3-4 times throughout the day) to access the site yesterday, only to have my router redirect me to a search engine page for Expert Football. It usually only does this if no such website exists.

Did anyone experience the same problem yesterday/before? Just a server hiccup?

I had that too. Whenever the site goes down it takes me to that search engine page, so it was nothing new to me.

So it was just a site outage? Nothing out of the ordinary?

Generally, I try to load the page and it won't, or it loads but won't let me log in/redirects me to snux. This is the first time I've gotten redirected to a search engine and made me scared that EF had kicked the bucket. :p

Huh? That never happened to me. Could it be the settings on your computer? If the site is down, you're supposed to get a browser error such as 'cannot find webpage'.

It happened again yesterday. I don't think so, if ajc got the same problem at roughly the same time.

That's very strange. I'm still trying to figure out how this could possibly happen. Could anybody you please do a snapshot of the search page next time you encounter it?

Don't worry EF's not going anywhere for now. :) I would probably let you know if it was.

Sometimes Safari will come up with something similar, along the lines of 'server could not be found'.

Hey, thanks a lot for taking the time to post a screenshot. Originally, I though somebody might have hijacked the EF domain or something but. Looks like a generic browser redirect.
