On Ef over the time i have been on here i have noticed people asking who is the best football player on Ef and who is the best at a certain drill. (e.g. CR9 drill).

So i was wondering what everyone thinks of me creating a list of tests for different areas needed to be a good footballer e.g. speed, strength, endurance, dribbling control and shooting accuracy etc.

Then i will explain why these tests signify how good you are at a specific area of football and finally tell everyone exactly how to do these tests ( e.g. the measurments)

I think this will be good as it will:

1) Let people compare there stats to others on EF. ( I know you never really know how good everyone is as it all depends on how you actually play in a match.)

2) Give people motivation to improve their stats so everyone can see if say 2 months later how much they improve

3) It will give people benchmarks on how good they should be at certain things.

4) It will be fun!

I would every so often update the top 5 in each category and possibly overall.

What does everybody think good idea/ great idea/ rubbish idea.

Tell me what you think.
Thanks

Sounds like a great idea, I'm in!

Would you use drills off places such as Nike Football (CR7 drill) or would they be of your own, or another's invention?

Some would be well recognised ones e.g. Bleep test, 100 meter sprint vertical jump etc

Some would be nike e.g. CR7 drill, Cesc drill, tevez close control

Some my own e.g. amount of instep drives into one of the 4 corners from 15 meters etc (out of e.g. 20 shots)

Any other suggestions of technical drills would be helpful. ( I have easily got enough good and wide range of physical ones)

Okay, honestly sounds like a great idea to me.

I'll try and supply some technical ones tomorrow, I'm a bit tired right now.

If you look at any of the sub-categories for Competition, this idea doesn't match any of them.

I'm not saying that it belongs in the competition section of the forum, just that it is more like a competition between the forum members than a training routine.

Probably would be better to video the drill, for trust reasons, you know.

Cheers Panchester

I mentioned some of the drills i will use in a previous post.

Although i would really appreciate it if you could think of a few technical drills.

Any idea what forum section i should post it in?

I will try to get it started tomorrow.

Oh and about the viding it im not sure as advantages are obviously there will be no cheating but negatives are that less people will do it. Also some people wont want to video.

Obviously if it sounds stupid i will ask for a vid.

I am really not sure about this rule, would all you guys be willing to submit videos.

I have an idea we could say that you can post your stats whith or without a video, but to get onto the "leaderboard" you need evidence.
